Establishing Deaf Churches and Deaf Ministries in Churches
WMS has taught sign language classes in churches for many years and started deaf churches in the U.S. and other countries. To have a sign langue class in your church or to get help starting a new deaf church, send us an email or fill out the contact form.
International Sign Language School
Through ISLS, the World Mission Society developed a two-week Sign Language Class to be taught in churches, schools and to the general public. The society has developed four levels of Sign Language study (in several languages) to be taught in 2 hour classes for two weeks for the most basic course, or in 8 hours of class per day for two weeks for courses equal to college level studies. Sign language I, II, III, and IV are the class levels offered in various languages including American Sign Language, Mexican Sign Language, Brazilian Sign Language and others.

International Camping Ministry
WMS has sponsored camping programs for Deaf People and workers with the deaf in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, St Thomas, Puerto Rico and other locations.
As funding comes available, these camps are offered free of charge to deaf youth.

American Society for the Deaf
Founded by WMS the ASD is the social and educational services branch of the World Mission Society. ASD offers social centers for deaf people of El Paso and Dallas Texas. The society offers educational services, non-clinical counseling, job placement and job coaching. In its educational areas the Society offers GED Tutorial Studies, career studies in IT positions, citizenship training, and other areas of educational endeavor.
